Steve is a highly qualified arboriculturalist with 40+ years’ experience in the industry, 19 years of which were spent in Local Government as a Principal Arboricultural and Woodlands Officer. Steve holds the following relevant qualifications:
a) Certificate in Arboriculture (Royal Forestry Society)
b) Professional Technician in Arboriculture (Arboricultural Association) – Level 4
c) Professional Diploma in Arboriculture (Royal Forestry Society) – Level 6
d) Fellow Member of the Arboricultural Association.

Vaughan Lewis

Head of Arboricultural & Woodland Consultancy (Director)

Vaughan has worked within the arboricultural and forestry sectors for 25+ years, most recently as the Ancient Woodland Restoration Officer for the Woodland Trust and prior to that, as the Principal Arboricultural and Woodlands Officer for a local authority. Vaughan holds the following qualifications: –
a) Professional Technician in Arboriculture – (Arboricultural Association) – Level 4

b) Professional Tree Inspector Certificate (Lantra Awards)
c) Landscape Science, Higher National Diploma -Distinction. (Pencoed College & University of Glamorgan)

Scott Ambler

Consultancy – Arboricultural Surveyor (Director)

Scott’s 20+ years’ arboricultural experience sits at the core of his Arboricultural Surveying on a day-to-day basis with large and medium sized companies as well as for private individuals. With effective interpersonal skills and knowledge, Scott provides clear advice and a speedy turnaround to an ever-increasing client base.  He currently holds: Diploma in Arboriculture Level 2 and is working towards Level 4.

Leigh Ambler

Technical Manager (Director)

As a Director Leigh leads and manages our Tree Teams on a daily basis assessing and allocating all work. His management and leadership experience includes individualised tree work planning, quantity surveying, Ash dieback assessments, installation of artificial tree restraints, dealing with dangerous trees and delivering on large projects. With 20+ years’ experience in arboriculture, a fully qualified Climber and Level 1 Tree Inspector (LANTRA), Leigh is a qualified City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Instructor and Assessor. Fully qualified in all aspects of tree surgery operation including Rigging, Leigh leads our Tree Teams and all LOLER equipment testing and compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and leads all day-to-day working operations, monitoring progress, safety, and training for all operatives.

Alison Edwards – Support and Development Manager BA Hons Wales., PGCE.,Dipl Management.,MEd Leadership and
Management., NPQH., Dip Financial Planning.

Bringing a wealth of experience from Leadership in education, Alison joined the company in 2020 and manages the daily
organisation and smooth running of our office and leads on the company’s development planning and financial tracking, fleet
management and human resources. Alison has upgraded the company’s existing invoice procedures and works’ tracker
systems and manages our policy development and accreditations along the attainment of our Health and Safety certification.
Having led on a wide range of strategic plans within education, she manages and monitors all our systems ensuring
sustainability and focus, moving us forward on our development action plans. Alison also manages our in-house CPD
programme and is currently developing our new skills’ training centre. She has recently gained her Diploma in Financial
Planning.

Lee Pinney – CAD and GIS Specialist. PGCert.

Lee brings a technical skill and innovation to the company with over 30 years’ experience in this field. He holds level 4, 5 & 6
qualifications in Land Administration Planning, Computing and in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Lee has designed
and continually develops the companies digital surveying programmes, ensuring we meet and exceed our client’s bespoke
requirements. He manages our mapping needs and produces all digital plans to support the consultancy role, ensuring a high
level of accuracy and detail with his personnel attention.
